Information used to provide the service
Descriptions, photos, optional vehicle details and report context are sent to our service endpoints when you request analysis or a follow-up. Google Gemini processes text and image requests; speech uses the configured AI speech service. Avoid submitting faces, addresses, documents or other personal details that are not needed.
Location is requested only when you choose Use my location. Coordinates or a typed city are sent for Google Maps nearby searches. If you request a VIN lookup, the VIN is sent to the US NHTSA vehicle lookup service.
Browser storage and analytics
Your current description, photos, vehicle details, report and conversation can be kept in sessionStorage for this browser session. Your language preference is kept in localStorage. Clear site data in your browser to remove those local copies; this does not delete information already processed by providers.
Google Analytics is configured to measure page visits. Page-view URLs omit query strings to reduce exposure of vehicle information. Google’s analytics technology may use cookies and collect browser/device information; browser privacy settings and tracking blockers can limit it.
Providers, retention and requests
Providers may process data outside Canada, where other laws and lawful access rules may apply. We do not promise Canadian-only storage, zero retention or that provider data has already been erased. Provider-specific processing and retention depend on their applicable terms and settings.
Contact Info@tow2.com to ask about access, correction or deletion of personal information you believe Tow2 holds. Describe the request without sending sensitive details initially. Local browser storage and third-party records have different controls; we will explain available steps rather than promise deletion we cannot verify.
